Unable To Activate Custom Workflows After Upgrade (Doc ID 2416192.1)

PRODUCT VERSIONS:

SIEBEL VERSION: Siebel 18.5
SIEBEL APP O/S: Linux x86

ISSUE STATEMENT:
----------------------------
The Siebel application was upgraded from Siebel IP 2013 to Siebel IP 2017 (Patchset 18.5).

Afterwards, when using Siebel 18.5 client application to activate a workflow process, an error occurs.

ERROR MESSAGE:
--------------------------
The error message that occurs with this issue is:

ObjMgrBusCompLog Error 1 00001ae55b27451c:0 2018-06-19 16:16:12 (buscomp.cpp (33853)) SBL-DAT-00225: The value entered in field Process Business Object of buscomp Workflow Process Deployment does not match any value in the bounded pick list FOW SRF Business Object.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
---------------------------------
The behaviour occurs as follows:

1. Perform a full upgrade of an existing Siebel environment from IP 2013 to Siebel IP 2017 (Patchset 18.5).

2. Log into Siebel Web Client, navigate to Sitemap > Administration - Business Process screen > Workflow Deployment View > Repository Workflow Processes list applet > select an existing workflow process > click the {Activate} button.

3. The reported error occurs at this point.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

The expected behaviour is that the workflow process should get activated without an error.
