Errors While Running Genbscript In Siebel IP 18.5 Server Machine (Doc ID 2424489.1)

On : 18.5 version, Configuration - General

The customer upgraded from Siebel 13 to 18.5. They encounter errors while running genbscript in Siebel IP 18.5 server machine.

Command:

D:\sba81\siebsrvr\BIN>genbscript /c D:\sba81\siebsrvr\bin\enu\publicsector.cfg D:\sba81\applicationcontainer\webapps\siebel /l enu /u UserId /p ******** /d ServerDataSrc

They confirmed that the userId and password being used is correct and is working at the database level.

Prior to running the genbscript command, following steps were followed:


1. Modify your CFG file to have the following:
[DBSecAdpt]
SecAdptDllName = sscfsadb
DataSourceName = ServerDataSrc
DBSecAdpt_PropagateChange = TRUE

2. Add an ODBC Data Source
- ODBC Name should be same as Server Name

ERROR

CSSModel::invalid usename/password. Login failed
