Recent Records Applet Not Updated Accordingly (Doc ID 2433860.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Access any record and go to Recent Record in home page view and you will see that  this recent record is not displayed in a particular situation

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
In any given situation if you access any record and go to Recent Record in home page view then the Recent record applet should display that record.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

 A. When is working:

    1. Go to Cases Home

    2. Click on a random Case

    3. Go back to Cases Home and observe Recent Records applet: the last accessed record is present in the Recent Records List.

 

 

 B. Second part of the test when is not working:

    4. Go to Activities Home - All Activities

    5. Search for an Activity which is linked with a Case.

    6. Click on the Case link.

    7. Go back to Cases Home and observe Recent Records applet: the Case accessed from Activities context is not present in Recent Records List.
