Tasks Spawing On Siebel Open UI (Doc ID 2441742.1)

Siebel CRM - Version 16.18 [IP2016] and later

Symptoms

On : 16.18 [IP2016] version, System Admin

 Siebel Open UI OM tasks were spawning making OM run out of tasks or reach to its max values.

Siebel setup:

2 Siebel servers (Siebel native load balanced)

2 web servers F5 load balanced with DOS awareness turned on.



STEPS
-----------------------
1. Launch Siebel Open UI URL and from srvrmgr you would see task keeps spawning with same task ID.

2. Without launching URL as well issue was reproducible.
