Siebel Security Model Is Not Working When using F5 URL For Siebel Web Service End Point Address Under Siebel Security Model (Doc ID 2443945.1)

Symptoms

1. Establish BI Publisher Integration with Siebel Applications

2. Enable Siebel Web Servers load balancing using F5 Or with any other load balancing product.

3. Login to BI Publisher using super user credentials, modify the Siebel Webservice endpoint address under Siebel Security model to use F5 webserver host. Apply and restart BIP services after this change

    Under Administration -> Security Center -> Security Configuration -> "Authorization' section    

4. Try to login to BI Publisher with Siebel Security credentials, it fails with below error in UI and in bipublisher.log

Caused by: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target.  

  Note: Observe that this works fine when using Individual Web Sever at Siebel webservice end point address under 'Siebel Security model'

Siebel Web Servers were Load Balanced
