When Creating Gateway Get A 5009 Error (Doc ID 2451645.1)

Symptoms

Getting a 5009 error in the log file when trying to create the gateway.
It seems the config program is trying to find the FQDN versus the hostname.
In the log the HostName is hostname.xxx.yyyy.edu

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create the gateway through command line installation.
2. Notice the failure to complete the installation.
