We have been using F9 for a long time and just recently we came across an issue where for some users (mostly one user), F9 operation results in an activity that has no association with the parent SR (from where the F9 was invoked). And the F9 is invoked from the vanilla Service Request BC.
I will capture the OM logs (by increasing all event levels to 5) and the attach it to this SR but let me know if there is are any other things we could check. I already checked a few things but nothing so far has helped trace the root cause.
Error received in Object Manager log:
