Issue With SBL-SCR-00140 After Upgrade To Siebel 2018 Patchset 9 (Doc ID 2471678.1)

After upgrade from Siebel 18.6 custom environment to Siebel 18 Patch set 9, when starting customized OM, following error is raised:

This seems to be related with a custom business service 'Custom business name' method: 'Init'

This business service is executed in Application_Start. Following test has been executed: Create Workspace, Set Application_Start to Inactive, deliver Workspace.

The result is that the application comes up - but with different errors because the business service is most important in customer application.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Install 18.9 on SES, AI and Tools
2) Execute WSRanking
3) Execute RepositoryUpgrade
4) Install 2 interimspatches p28667269 and p28695456
