Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2019

Applies to:

Siebel Financial Services CRM - Version 18.7 to 18.11 [Release V17]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On :  18.7 version, Client Functionality

There is incorrect rounding in the number fields: this occurs with the second decimal digit.

Example I:
User enters in the value 0.0287609 in the UI:  the value changes to  0.038760.
However,  in the Database, the value remains same as the value entered by the user, i.e. 0.0287609.

Example II:
0.0195889 displays as ‘0.029588’

In the database, the value is stored as 0.0195889, the same as entered in the UI.

STEPS
1. Launch application.
2. Go to Recalculate amount financed:
3. Enter value in the Custom field Rate Card LRF ( X_RT_CRD_LRF):
Value entered in the UI:            ‘0.0195889'.
4. Save Record.

Result:
    UI Value changes to 0.029588
    Database shows correct value:       ‘0.0195889'.

Changes
