Questions Regarding Production DB Upgrade On Existing Configured SMC (Doc ID 2479006.1)

On : 18.7 version, System Admin

Customer was upgrading from 15.12 to 18.7. Customer finished DEV, TEST and UAT upgrades. Customer had a requirement wherein ustomer had below questions:

1. Do we have to reconfigure SMC after shutting down Production server and re-running PROD upgrade for the new database instance which has the same IP address and same name?

2. Does the SMC profile gets stored in the DB tables?
