Symptoms

Setting the Sales Stage field on Opportunity Business Component from within a Task is not logged in Audit Trail.

When setting the Sales Stage field on Opportunity BC from with a Task, via the Siebel Operation step, this does not get logged into the Audit Trail.  This is happening on multiple tasks.

Even when this is a simple Task is used, the field Sales Stage is not captured in Audit Trail.

STEPS
1. Create a simple Task where only the Siebel Operation Insert step is present for creating a new Opportunity: set field values for Sales Stage, Name and Primary Revenue Close Date (since these fields are required on BC level).
2. Run the Task.
3. Navigate to Audit Trail Items view and review captured activities.

Result: The New Record Operation for Opportunity Sale Stage was not captured.

New Record Operations for fields Name and Primary Close Date fields were captured.
