Is There any Difference in Creating Recurring Calendar Activities in Calendar in 18.11 ?

Recently customer noticed that the activity form applet after upgrade had Repeat Flag, Repeat Until and Repeat Frequency fields marked as read-only on activity form applet after upgrade.
This mean that Repeat functionality is not supported or it is safe to activate these fields again on applet as use the functionality as it is?
