SSSE- All Day Recurring Invites (Doc ID 2495550.1)

Symptoms

On : 16.10 [IP2016] version, SSSE

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

Customer is facing an issue with SSSE where All day recurring invites are net synched correctly.

Steps:

1. Create ALL Day recurring in Siebel.
2. It synced to outlook successfully.
3. But in the sync cycle it unchecked the all-day flag and resetting duration in Siebel to ZERO.
4. later that event is deleted from Outlook as well.

Customer has also observed that there is no mapping of All Day and for a All Day activity in Siebel, All Day flag is not set as Y ion Outlook.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

 All day recurring invites should be synched correctly.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create ALL Day recurring in Siebel.
2. It synced to outlook successfully.
3. But in the sync cycle it unchecked the all-day flag and resetting duration in Siebel to ZERO.
4. later that event is deleted from Outlook as well.


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use the all day calendar items for their regular business meetings and events. This directly hampers productivity as this is a required part of Business calendar management in Siebel and Outlook.
