Siebel IP2017 SSO Reverse Proxy URL Server Misconfiguration Error with Apache Web Server Implementation (Doc ID 2496604.1)

On : 18.9 version, Security / Authentication

When trying to access reverse proxy URL on Apache web server for Siebel SSO implementation, the URL authentication fails for reverse proxy with below error:


ERROR

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup Apache web server 2.4 with reverse proxy
2. Setup Siebel SSO implementation with OAM (Oracle Access Manager)
3. Make sure to setup Siebel SSO parameters with SingleSignOn set to TRUE and TrustToken set to a value.
4. Make sure to specify the correct UserSpec HTTP header variable to pass the credentials from OAM/Apache to Siebel.
