Siebel IP2016 SBL-NET-01949 Error After Enabling TLS for Siebel Application Server and Web Server (Doc ID 2496619.1)

Symptoms

On : 16.19 [IP2016] version, Security / Authentication

When attempting to access Siebel Loyalty application with TLS implementation between web server and Application server, the TLS fails and the following errors are recorded:

ERROR

GenericLog GenericError 1 000000045c340f79:0 2019-01-07 20:25:19 ($Header: (1191) err=1181597 sys=0) SBL-NET-01949: Failed to establish TLS connection.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced ONLY in customer environment at will with the following steps:
1. Setup TLS communication between Siebel application and web server/SWSE
2. Make sure all the certificates (Root CA, Server Certificate and Private Key File Certificate) are setup properly
3. Define the same in the Siebel enterprise and eapps.cfg file (for SWSE)
4. Test to see if Siebel Loyalty application works with TLS.

Due to this issue, users cannot get TLS connection to be established and this was causing a setback.
