Auto Agreement From Quote Giving Picklist Error (Doc ID 2502554.1)

Symptoms


Auto Agreement from Quote giving picklist error upon customization.

Vanilla Auto contract functionality called from Quotes is creating an agreement with status In process.


Customer wanted to customize the auto contract functionality in order to have new agreements created with "New" status.

For this they performed the following changes in standard application:

   -> Created a custom value ( "New" ) for  SRV_AGREE_STATUS  LOV

   ->  In Data map administration view , for AutoAgreement datamap they removed the  Agreement Status mapping  ( in standard this is LookupValue("SRV_AGREE_STATUS", "In Process")  ->  Agreement Status )

  - > on the Agreement BC they changed the pre-default and post default values for "Agreement Status" field to:  Expr: 'LookupValue("SRV_AGREE_STATUS", "New")'

 

With above customization when using Auto contract button, the following error occurs:

ERROR

The value entered in field Agreement Status of buscomp Service Agreement does not match any value in the bounded pick list PickList Service Agreement Status.(SBL-DAT-00225)


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Quotes -> Agreements
3. Use AutoContract button
