Siebel CRM - Version 17.0 [IP2017] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
In previous siebel versions (before IP2017) it was possible to copy the SRF from Siebel Tools into Developer Client (that was pointing to Production database) and test the changes directly into the production database, Starting with IP2017 there is no longer an SRF (as the repository information is stored directly into the database).

note: In previous Siebel versions (pre IP2017), using developer client with the latest SRF, could check the modifications directly using production database
