Siebel Inbound Email Using Exchange Web Services

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Currently we are using Siebel Email Response with POP3 to process inbound emails. These emails are converted to service requests for processing by our agents.
The new architecture demands that we are going to use Exchange Web Services to process inbound emails.
In the “Siebel Email Administration Guide” I can only find POP3/IMAP as possibilities for Email response.
From the “Siebel Server Sync Guide” I understand that SSSE/PIMSI only support the synchronization of Contacts, Appointments and Tasks.
Is it possible to use Siebel Email Response with Exchange Web Services?
Can you point us to the applicable documentation?
