Browser Script Alert and Confirm JavaScript Methods Are Not Captured In Record/Playback Of Test Automation (Doc ID 2517820.1)

Symptoms

Browser script using JavaScript methods alert() or confirm() to popup dialog boxes are not captured by Siebel Test Automation Framework.

When record and later playing the Test Script the Reports fails showing errors on the steps where the dialog boxes show up. 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Add simple alert and confirm message in contact Business Component Browser Script in Siebel Tools on event BusComp_PreSetFieldValuePreset similar to below and deliver the workspace:
