OS Clustering and MQ client

As part of migration from LINUX 6 to LINUX 7.5, we are also upgrading MQ from v 8 to 9. Current environment uses OS Clustering for Gateway and other integration servers that support MQ Integration.

  1. What approach should be followed to support Siebel Gateway without OS Clustering?
  2. Can we support MQ integration by installing MQ client software only without installing MQ Server software on Siebel Servers?
  3. What steps we need to follow to encrypt MQ integration?
  4. Regarding the support of JMS queue based integration with TLS 1.2, as mentioned earlier The Siebel JMS Transport itself does not have any specific parameters to "support" or enable SSL-mode. We are not using Java Messaging services, but using IBM MQs. Are you saying that there is no specific setting required in Siebel end?
