Time to time, on a demand basis, users run business services to fix data or mass upload data in Production.
In versions prior to IP 2017, business services were created, compiled the business services onto SRF, connect to server using a dedicated client and simulate the business service.
The business service reads an input file (.csv) then process the records.
This is not achievable in IP 2017 in a Runtime Repository environment.
Also, sometime users get requests from business to update data through the business layer which is not possible because of the constrains put in the Siebel Application, to fix they inactivate constrains, compile the changes to SRF and connect dedicated client.
