After Replacing Keystore with New Certificates SMC Can't be Accessed: java.security.cert.CertificateException (Doc ID 2521455.1)

Symptoms

On : 18.10 version, System Admin

When attempting to Login to SMC, the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: No name matching <hostname>.<domain name> found

[ERROR] 2019-03-04 14:41:16.165 [Thread-6] CommonLogger - com.siebel.swsm.config.SWSMConfig$ProfilePuller:run Unable to retrieve profile from CG. Check if CG is active : java.security.cert.CertificateException: No name matching <hostname>.<domain name> found
[ERROR] 2019-03-04 14:41:21.796 [Thread-6] CommonLogger - com.siebel.swsm.config.CloudSourcedConfigReader:readConfig Error occured in CG update notification registry.Check SMC configuration, network access between the nodes : javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: No name matching <hostname>.<domain name> found


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Generate the new cer
2. Make a copy of the files jks, setenv.sh, server.xml
3. Replace the jks file and modify setenv.sh, server.xml with the new password.
4. Restart the environment.


BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, SMC does not allow access with the SADMIN user.
