Symptoms

On Siebel CRM version 17.x, 18.x and 19.x (up to 19.7), when attempting to access the Siebel application URL the following error is displayed:

"The server you are trying to access is either busy or experiencing difficulties."

 

In the catalina.log file that located under AI/applicationcontainer/logs directory the following can be found:

The issue can be reproduced in this scenario with the following steps:

  1. Install Siebel on a Linux machine

  2. Try to access the Siebel application URL
