Symptoms

On : 18.7 version, Loyalty

When attempting to redeem via a web service, the following error occurs.

ERROR

Error invoking service 'LOY Redemption Web Service', method 'ProcessRealTimeRedemption' at step 'Create Redemption Txn'.(SBL-BPR-00162)
The point balance is insufficient for payment using the given point type. Loan or Points to Pay conversion does not exist.(SBL-LTY-50163).

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Use the web service to redeem a record
2. Error occurs in web service
3. Error does not occur via a redemption in the batch engine

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, redemption cannot be fulfilled for this member.
