PageSize Parameter With Inbound REST Returns Wrong Result (Doc ID 2535480.1)

Symptoms

When there is no activity record associated to an account record (row_id is 1-XXXX), the following URL requests return different results:

https://host:port/Account/Account/1-XXXX/Action : returns no record

https://host:port/Account/Account/1-XXXX/Action?PageSize=N (N is 1 or bigger integer) : returns the parent account record.
