Siebel Application Object Manager Process Hangs Due To Inactivity (Doc ID 2536743.1)

Symptoms

Siebel AOM(Fins AOM,EAI, Web Tools, Fins_admin) hangs due to inactivity. While hitting URL, it gives server busy error however all components are in Online status.

After the restart enterprise, everything works normal and as expected. but again after sometime of inactivity, there will be server busy error for that AOM


If a specific component is restarted via server manager command that this AOM is accessible using UI, but after some time the issue is present again.

In cloudgateway.log whenever the "server busy" error comes, there is an entry written in this file:

[ERROR] 2019-03-27 08:50:31.997 [https-jsse-nio-9012-exec-11] CG_LOGGER - com.siebel.opcgw.cloudgateway.ZKServiceDiscoveryOperations:No active process for service: fins_admin
[ERROR] 2019-03-27 08:52:53.947 [https-jsse-nio-9012-exec-5] CG_LOGGER - com.siebel.opcgw.cloudgateway.ZKServiceDiscoveryOperations:No active process for service: swtoolsobjmgr_enu

 

in siebsrvr/bin folder some crashes are generated with the following callstack's:

 

Also, sometimes the server manager is no longer able to connect to gateway service and the only way to fix this is to restart the SES container
