Last updated on JANUARY 20, 2022

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The customer has reported when navigating on Administration - Pricing > Pricing List > on the Pick List Applet(Pricing Procedure) > Pick Workflow Process > is bringing 0 records, causing an issue to select the Workflow Processes. As it shows in the screenshot below:

========

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Full Migration from DR environment to RR Environment.

2. Navigate to the Administration - Business Service screen, then the Simulator view.

3. Run the following business service to activate all workflows and tasks in the target environment:

a. Business Service Name = Siebel Runtime Metadata Publisher Service

b. Invocation Method = ActivateWorkflowsTasks

c. Input Arguments:

The Bookshelf information below has confirmed that it is expected that the Workflow Definition table is empty on RR environment. But this is causing an issue on other functionality because is bring 0 records.

NOTE: In Bookshelf from Siebel Database Upgrade GuideData Migration Using Siebel Migration > Activating Workflows and Tasks in the Production Environment After Full Migration > explained that "When an incremental migration is triggered after a full migration, it deletes all design time data for workflows (so the opportunity to activate any workflows is lost after you run an incremental migration). Activating workflows involves generating a runtime definition of the workflow from the design time records."
