Siebel XMLPReportServer component not starting up - SBL-DAT-00546 error (Doc ID 2560565.1)

Symptoms

Siebel XMLP Report Server (XMLPReportServer) component was configured to use LDAP security authentication however when attempting to start up the siebel server the component was being terminated

ERROR

From siebel enterprise log file:


ServerLog ProcessExit 1 000000045d131c98:0 <date time>  XMLPReportServer <pid>  TERMINATED Process <pid> was terminated


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Configure the following parameter for XMLPReportServer component to use the LDAP authentication


Security Adapter Name    
Security Adapter Mode    
Username    
Password    

2. Start up the siebel server where the XMLPReportServer component is running


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot generate the siebel reports
