The SQL statement generated by the BC "MACD Order Entry - Line Items" is causing SQL Performance issues.

As a result of the performance analysis of the most expensive queries executed by Siebel, it was detected that the business component "MACD Order Entry - Line Items" has two explicit joins to the S_ASSET table by the same foreign key (S_ASSET.INTEGRATION_ID).

In the join specification:

Alias Destination Column Source Field
Asset Integration Id INTEGRATION_ID Asset Integration Id
Asset Number INTEGRATION_ID Asset Integration Id

The fields of the business component used by these joins are the following:

Name Join Column Force Active
Asset Num Asset Number ASSET_NUM True
Prior End Date Asset Integration Id END_DT True

These joins are used to obtain the field [Asset Num] of the join "Asset Number" and column ASSET_NUM and the field [Prior End Date] of the join "Asset Integration Id" and column END_DT.
Both have the property "Force Active" = True.

The SQL statement generated from this BC, is associated twice to the S_ASSET table to obtain the same record, impacting the performance.

The suggestion is to combine both columns under the same join; however, the current configuration is out-of-the-box/

Can the change be made without affecting the normal functioning of the business component?
