Siebel Server Does Not Start After Recreating the Service (Doc ID 2611758.1)

On : 18.8 version, System Admin

Unable to Start the Siebel Server after deleting and recreating the service.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Delete the service file.
2. Recreate the service

siebctl -r "/<siebel_home>/ses/siebsrvr" -S siebsrvr -i "enterprise:server" -a -g "-g hostname:9111 -e <enterprise> -s <server> -u <username>" -e <password>
3. Start the Siebel Service

 

Changes

 Deleted and recreated the siebel service.
