Products Are Added Twice When The User Double Clicks On The Checkbox In Product Configurator Using Internet Explorer (Doc ID 2612314.1)

Symptoms

 

Products are added twice when the user double clicks on the checkbox configured for the product in Product Configurator Using Internet Explorer , Ideally on the second click the product should get unchecked should not get added. It works fine in Chrome and Firefox

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login in to Siebel with Internet Explorer
  2. Under quotes screen, create a new Quote.
  3. Adds a Customizable Product with child products available for selection using check boxes
  4. Click customize on the product
  5. Product Configurator is launched to customize
  6. Double Click on the desired child product's checkbox in a quick succession.
  7. Click Done button
  8. Product gets added twice, rather it should not be added at all.
