LDAP Security Adapter Cannot Be Configured As Part of Enterprise Deployment. (Doc ID 2623099.1)

Symptoms

On : 19.7 version, Security / Authentication

LDAP Security Adapter Cannot Be Configured As Part of Enterprise Deployment.

When the Enterprise is deployed along with LDAP Security Adapter configuration, it fails with one of the error below.


ERROR
-----------------------

1) There is a parameter for CRC (checksum) on the security profile for LDAP. When it is left without value, deployment of Enterprise fails with the message below.
INFO: CRC cannot be empty

2) When hexadecimal value from checksum is entered, it shows the error "Only numeric input is allowed" Ant the deployment fails with the message below.
INFO: a must be a number

("a" can be any values between a and f that are valid hexadecimal number.)

 


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Security Profile is created for LDAP Security Adapter.
2. For Enterprise configuration, select the configuration above and submit it.
3. For the deployment of the Enterprise, select the profile created at step 2.
4. When the Enterprise is deployed, it fails with the error above.
