Execution of EAI Siebel Adapter 'Delete' method with "OBJECTLEVELTRANSACTIONS" parameter does not continue after encountering the errors (Doc ID 2624155.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 29, 2019

Applies to:

Siebel CRM - Version 16.19 [IP2016] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When trying to delete the record in Siebel by executing the EAI Siebel Adapter - Delete method with the parameter "ObjectLevelTransactions" set to True, the EAI Siebel Adapter will stop processing further records and will not return any error message or code on the Siebel Message.

For example, If any one of the record entries sent in the Instance of Integration Object (Request Payload of Siebel Message) is not found by Siebel it errors out with the message: No rows retrieved corresponding to the business component and then EAI Siebel Adapter stops the processing of next records.

but the expected or actual behavior of "ObjectLevelTransactions" parameter is the records those are not processed (In this case records are not existed in the DB) then it should show in the output of Siebel Message and it contain the reason for the failure. The status of the each record is recorded in the "ErrorCode" and "ErrorSymbol" fields of root Integration component in the Integration Object.
