General Slowness To Login to Oracle Database and Batch Components Having Slowness on Data Processing (Doc ID 2624300.1)

Symptoms

The environment is facing general slowness, and has been narrowed down to database.

When doing tests using SQL PLUS connecting to the database server the connection is taking longer than expected.

By adding the following settings in the $ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus/admin/glogin.sql:

set timing on time on

When logging to SQL PLUS it is possible to note how long the login to the database is taking.
