Siebel CRM 17 and Later Siebel Session Logs In With Anon User On Session Timeout In SSO (Doc ID 2624960.1)

Last updated on MAY 05, 2023

Applies to:

Siebel CRM - Version 17.0 [IP2017] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to login to the Siebel Application post implementation with Single-Sign-On (SSO), the Siebel Session Logs In automatically with Anon User on session timeout.

By design, once Siebel SSO has been implemented, the Siebel application login with SSO credentials should only log the user as the actual user and not as anonymous user.

The issue can be reproduced using below steps

1. Setup Siebel Application with Session Timeout value in AI to a value.
2. Setup SSO Timeout Session and do not setup a value same as the Session timeout in AI and check to see if the session times out and whether the user is automatically logged in as Anonymous user.
