Siebel Application OM throws an error "returns 552 Errstring is Unable to open wallet" (Doc ID 2627875.1)

Symptoms

When trying to upgrade authentication from plaintext LDAP to secure LDAPS. For this using Oracle Wallet manager created wallet using LDAP CA certificates.

Enabled SSL parameters for LDPASecAdpt. After restart applications is giving server busy error with LDAPS.

Error in OM log:

SecAdptLog 3rdpartyTrace 3 0000001d5e0b2994:0 2020-01-02 09:45:09 ldap_init_SSL(D:\Siebel\ses\applicationcontainer\siebelcerts\ewallet.p12, ..) returns 552 Errstring is Unable to open wallet.
SecAdptLog 3rdpartyTrace 3 0000001d5e0b2994:0 2020-01-02 09:45:09 ldap_unbind(1407a48) returns 0.

 

STEPS:

  1. Created wallet using Oracle wallet manager
  2. Enable SSLdatabase & wallet password paameters for LDAPSecAdpt
  3. Restart Siebel enterprise
