Data From Custom Child Entity Is Not Passed From Siebel To EDQ For Child Entity Matching Deduplication (Doc ID 2632382.1)

Last updated on MAY 13, 2021

Applies to:

Siebel Universal Customer Master - Version 15.7 [IP2015] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

As part of deduplication, there is a requirement to achieve clustering and matching on custom child business component field on a Custom Child Business Component.

A custom BC has been created and added to Contact BO. Custom BC has 1:M relationship. The same has been added to the IO 'Contact Dedup IO', 'SwiPersonIO', where they are updated with the 'Contact Child Dedup Object Name' user property with new custom BC in BS: DeDuplication. The configuration steps were followed from the below KM article link:

However, deduplication is not happening in Custom child BC. The custom child bc is not included in the deduplication request, the message did not include the custom child BC.

When running the PersonService WS using SOAP UI, EDQ connector generates cluster keys except ID Information (nationalidnumber) that should come from the custom BC.

The behaviour occurs as follows:

1. Create a custom BC that stores information such as customer Id information like Driving License (DL), Passport, etc in CX_ID_INFO.IDEN_NUM (Id information) i.e. Contact contains 1 or more Id information (1:M relationship).

2. Add this custom BC to Contact BO.

3. Add the custom BC to the IO 'Contact Dedup IO', 'SwiPersonIO'.

4. Follow the rest of the configuration outlined in the following article:

5. Send a web service request for PersonService web service using SOAP UI.

6. EDQ connector generates cluster keys except ID Information (nationalidnumber) that should come from the custom BC.
