After Applying Siebel CRM 20.5 Update the Communication Inbound Receiver Component Takes a Long Time to Load and Start Processing Emails (Doc ID 2681336.1)

Symptoms


After apply Siebel CRM 20.5 Update on Production the CommInboundRcvr component hangs for about 1  hour and 25 minutes during the component startup. After the error below are logged the component starts to process the inbound email as expected.

This behavior was not observer before in Siebel CRM 20.3

The following new error is observed on CommInboundRcvr log:



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Configure Siebel Email Response with some Response Groups, in this particular case customer has about 15 email profiles.
  2. Apply Siebel CRM Update 20.5 and start the Siebel Server running the CommInboundRcvr component
  3. The component start but it takes more than 1 hour to start processing inbound emails.
