BI Publisher 12c Login Shows HTTP 404 Not Found Post Deploying xmlpserver.ear With Siebel Integration (Doc ID 2689367.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to integrate Siebel with BIP 12c, the steps to configure fails when modifying the weblogic-application.xml and deploy xmlpserver.ear file. The following error occurs in biserver1.out log:

 

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Perform Siebel integration with BIP 12c
2. Make sure that the integration steps are followed
3. As part of Siebel BIP integration configuration, deploy the xmlpserver.ear and see if it is successful
