Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

The standard Business Service 'FS Holiday API Service' > Method: 'GetResponseTime' calculates Commit Time incorrectly.

Using Business Simulator, the following steps were taken to reproduce the issue:

1- A new Schedule "ABC Schedule" is created in Administration - Service > Schedule

Monday    8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday   8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday  8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Friday    8:30 am - 5:00 pm

2- Using Help > About View, note the Schedule ROW_ID - eg: 1-VCI

3- Using Business Simulator from Administration - Business Service > Simulator, add the following record:

Service Name: FS Holiday API Service

Method Name: GetResponseTime

4- In the Input Arguments applet, click in "Property Name" and add the following properties:

Start Time = 05/15/2020 08:30:00
Response Time = 61200
Time Zone: (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)  ** This is the same Time Zone of the Logged In User.
Priority = High
ServiceCalendarId = 1-CDV  ** Adjust the ServiceCalendarId and the Time Zone accordingly
Time Unit = Seconds

5- Click "Run"

6- Check the result in the Output Arguments Applet:

Commited Time: 05/19/2020 08:30:00

7- It is expected that Commit Time is 5/18/2020 at 17:00

61200 seconds = 17 hours

Day 15 (Friday) => 8.5 hours
Day 16 and 17 (are weekend days)
Day 18 (Monday) => 8.5 hours = 17 hours = 5/18/202 at 17:00
