Unable To Login OBIEE From Siebel Due To A DOMException in the Chrome Browser

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When attempting to login to OBIEE through the marketing Siebel segment screen lthe OBI page re-directs to the login page.
From the same page, logging in with a user returns to the log in page.
The same user can log in to OBIEE directly
The repro steps fro this issue are:
1. Login to Siebel Marketing application.
2. Navigate to segment screen.
This should automatically log in to OBIEE, but the OBIEE login page is shown
3. Enter OBIEE credentials and click login; the user is routed back to OBIEE login page.
