Expired certificates can cause Gateway Security Profile error in SMC (Doc ID 2710057.1)

Siebel CRM - Version 17.0 [IP2017] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.


This could happen to new Siebel install or already running Siebel implmentation due to expiry of any certificate used in the keystore. This is caused die to expiry of the certificate(s) in keystore and could lead to server busy error/ application inaccessible, while the Servies are running.

Steps to replicate the error:
1. Start/running the Siebel server services
2. Login into SMC
3. Post login below error is shown "Gateway - Create Security Profile"

Below log entry is also found  \gtwy_applicationcontainer\cloudgateway.log
