Configuring Product UI Tab Within Siebel Product Configurator Crashes The Session (Doc ID 2713796.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to add a template to create a new UI style, the following error occurs, crashing the session.

The server you are trying to access is busy or experiencing difficulties


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Go to Administration - product > Product Classes
- Lock any class and drill down into its Work Space
- Go to User Interface tab
- Create an option with some name (Option type = High Interactivity)
- Click on the pick applet control in Base Theme field
- In the pick applet click on the plus sign to create a new interface style
- In the resulting applet give new style a name and click pick applet control in the Тemplate field
- Session crashes ("The server you are trying to access is busy or experiencing difficulties")
