Symptoms

Application/Components are not coming up after Applying Siebel CRM Monthly Update. Several Components Are Crashing With SBL-OSD-01000 Error

(Note: This issue could occur on other versions as well).



Error in WfProcBatchMgr_timestamp.log:

GenericLog GenericError 1 000000025f7721d0:0 2020-10-02 07:28:00 (smimtsrv.cpp (728) err=1376280 sys=0) SBL-SMI-00024: Unable to load sssabsvm

In the Enterprise log file there are several components getting crashed/terminated, see snippet below:

ServerLog ProcessExit 1 000000045fc602dc:0 2020-12-01 11:45:09         FSMSrvr                   7172    SBL-OSD-01000 Process 7172 exited with error - Internal: The process attempted to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access. 


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply Siebel CRM monthly patch update on existing environment

2. Components are not coming up and crashes with SBL-OSD-01000 errors
