Some Inbound Web Services Fail With Connection Reset Error Due To Running 3rd Party Puppet Agent Scripts In The Background (Doc ID 2719846.1)

Symptoms

Some of the inbound web services into Siebel EAI started returning connection reset errors. These errors were intermittent and seem to be influenced by the response's size (bigger fails more often).

Detailed IIS traces showed that 0 bytes were sent to the client in the end. Network trace showed that the TCP RST message was sent from the Siebel server.
