Symptoms

When migration installation is executed for Siebel Enterprise Server (SES), existing ODBC data source is migrated from previous version to new version.

In many occasions such as OS and/or hardware replacement is involved before Siebel installation, it is necessary to execute new installation for SES then perform Siebel database upgrade using the newly installed environment. In this scenario, ODBC data source needs to be created manually as it is not generated yet.
