Inbound EAI calls are intermittently dropped by F5 LTM device (Doc ID 2737124.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading the F5 LTM device from version 13.1.3.2 to version 13.1.3.4.0.201.5, all inbound EAI calls are intermittently getting failed with the given below error

Filename = localhost_access_log.2020-11-27.txt
See the following error: 500

Filename = UI.log
See the following error: [ERROR] 2020-11-27 22:04:05.930 [https-jsse-nio-9001-exec-1] UI - com.siebel.swsm.context.SWSMResponseStreamer:WriteBinaryResponse Unable to write response body data to client. : java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer

Filename = EAI..log
See the following error: [ERROR] 2020-11-27 22:04:05.973 [https-jsse-nio-9001-exec-1] EAI - com.siebel.swsm.handlers.EAIHandler:setErrorResponse Error occurred while processing Siebel Response. Check logs for more info.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. EAI using 4 AI servers balanced by F5 LTM device version 13.1.3.2
2. Upgrade the F5 LTM device to version 13.1.3.4.0.201.5 and observe that AI servers are having issues
3. Make the F5 transparent and note that the issue is no longer observed.


Changes

Upgrade of the F5 LTM device from version 13.1.3.2 to version 13.1.3.4.0.201.5.
