Inbound EAI calls are intermittently dropped by F5 LTM device

After upgrading the F5 LTM device from version 220.127.116.11 to version 18.104.22.168.0.201.5, all inbound EAI calls are intermittently getting failed with the given below error

See the following error: [ERROR] 2020-11-27 22:04:05.973 [https-jsse-nio-9001-exec-1] EAI - com.siebel.swsm.handlers.EAIHandler:setErrorResponse Error occurred while processing Siebel Response. Check logs for more info.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. EAI using 4 AI servers balanced by F5 LTM device version 22.214.171.124
2. Upgrade the F5 LTM device to version 126.96.36.199.0.201.5 and observe that AI servers are having issues
3. Make the F5 transparent and note that the issue is no longer observed.
Upgrade of the F5 LTM device from version 188.8.131.52 to version 184.108.40.206.0.201.5.
