Delete Of Parent LOV Hangs the Application

Deleting Parent LOV record hangs the Application.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Application
2. Go to Administration-Data Screen ->List Of Values View
3. Click on Query button, and search with parent LIC value as is not null
4. Copy the parent LIC value
5. Now click on query button and query with the above parent LIC Value in value column
6. Once the results are retrieved, delete the record which means deleting the parent record
7. Record is not displayed in UI. Now click on query button, application is hung
