Unable to Add Exception Connector from Business Service Step in Web Tools Workflow Editor (Doc ID 2748286.1)

The below error is noticed when attempting to add an Exception connector from a Business Service Step in a workflow:


  1. Create a new Workflow Process in Web Tools Workflow Editor.
  2. Click on the pencil icon and Add a Start, End, and two Business Service steps.
  3. Create Default connectors between the Start, Business Service Step 1 and  Business Service Step 2 and End steps.
  4. Now add an Exception Connector from Business Service Step 1 to Business Service Step 2.
  5. Results: Error "There cannot be more than one outgoing Connector from a Business Service step." is seen.

    Conversely, if either an Error Exception or User Defined Exception connector has been defined between two steps, one is not able to add a Default Connector coming from the first step.

    The same behavior is noticed with Siebel Operation, Sub Process and Task steps as well.
