Symptoms


When attempting to run PostInstallDBSetup during 20.12 Update installation on Linux,
the following error occurs in the PostInstallDBSetup_<timestamp>.log

Wed Jan 27,2021 [23:53:5] : /siebelapp/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/bin/odbcsql /u sadmin /p ****** /s "odbc_DSN" /separator / /a /v /c rem /e /h /o /siebelapp/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/log/PostInstallDBSetup_2021-01-27_23-16-36/update_process_PostInstallDBSetup.out /l /siebelapp/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/log/PostInstallDBSetup_2021-01-27_23-16-36/update_process_PostInstallDBSetup.log /siebelapp/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/log/PostInstallDBSetup_2021-01-27_23-16-36/update_process_PostInstallDBSetup.sql /f CP1252

This error appears in the Log over and over, staying in a loop.

dummy2.txt generated by the execution above has the error:

/siebelapp/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/bin/odbcsql: error while loading shared libraries: libsslcosa.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
